I bought an inexpensive Illuminated keyboard that advertised PC and Mac compatible. I discovered that it uses the scroll lock key to toggle the illumination off and on. The keyboard illumination is in fact the scroll lock light. My Mac computer does not support turning this light on. ControllerMate allowed me to reestablish this function in addition to remapping all of the multimedia keys. I am happy.
