Used Product For: Less than a month

I *want* to like ThunderBird. I think having choice for email apps is important.

But even as the years go by ThunderBird is still missing some very basic features you see in ALL other email apps.

In particular:

1. You can't simply select text and reply and have your selected text "quoted".

2. Most annoyingly, you can't easily find replies! There is a little "reply" icon in email listings after you reply, but clicking on it just brings up the email itself, not the reply.

I notice on the Mozilla "bugs" list that item (1) has been a frequently requested feature since 2000!
