...my menu bar is already too junked up. I'd hate to put another icon up there. Any chance you'll make your app available through a hot key—or maybe as a widget?

Soubds like a great idea, but - Razzledazzle

Use NoMenuBar it is a free app. I use it on my Powerbooks and I can then add more stuff to the menubar. All I do is click on NoMenuBar's dock icon and I can see all the apps in my menubar. Very useful if you have limited realestate up there.

Thanks for the feedback. We will look into adding support for showing the search window at a different location. The hot key support is already there, hit Command (Apple Key) and Return to activate the search window.
