Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

As a very, very , very long time user of Dantz products (going back to the early '90's when they acquired Disk Fit Pro (which I had running over Apple Share based on an SE server with several II ci's) I have always defended their product - until ---

OS X and it caused many permission problems, unaccessible drives, lost files, and totally unusable external fw drives. All of this is documented (without any response from them) in their forums, on several mac web sites and at Apple Stores.

Bottom line - as of 2007/04/12 at 2:00 am est I have trashed/deleted/erased every retrospect thing that I own.

For exact backup's use Super Duper. For incremental (previous versions of files are saved) use Chronosync. Both work great and together they accomplish what I want - an exact dup, and a legacy/history/trail of previous versions.

So long, good bye - Retrospect - I hate to see you go but I can't put up with your failures any longer.

The King is Dead - -=Someone=-

But SuperDuper doesn't work with tape drives. What are people using for backup to tape?
