Recently, I have been receiving a number of wmv video clips which my version of WMP cannot or does not like to play. I assume that there are some new codecs around that haven't reached me yet, but I can't find info about this on the WMP page.

Look for DivX and XviD codecs... Also, AC3 audio codecs.

What you wanna do is load these clips into a Windows XP machine... And use Media Player Classic, which will SHOW you, if you right click on the big WMP square and choose "Information" - How the clip was encoded. Look for Gabest Media Player Classic, it ought to be on Source Forge.

If you have a website where I can download WMP codecs PLEEESE post it!

Thanx!
