I honestly can't believe this has only a 3 star rating. I've been using Mail Widget for months and find it the simplest, most elegant mail checker yet. It does exactly what it claims - gives you a count of emails in your server - and makes it easy to start Mail to find them. Sure there are widgets that will give more and I think that's great, but if simplicity is what you're looking for then I highly recommend this! Kudos to the developer!
