Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

I used LaTeX Eq Editor very happily under OS 10.3. It was a truly great little program, of extraordinary value and incredibly easy to use. Made lots of nice TeX labels for drawings. But now I have an Intel Mac, OS 10.4.9. And the Eq Editor just will not typeset anything at all. No messages, except the tiger. Cannot even typeset a single roman letter, let alone an equation. Really too bad, because now I have no way to make these labels in drawings or Keynote.

this does work - Bruce W Shore

The problem with my use of this software was that when I had to do an "archive and install" of the OS, all my TeX software got deleted. Once it was back in place, this worked just fine. It really is an excellent piece of work, and extremely useful.

Hello!

Could you provide a detailed procedure how to fix the LaTeX Equation Editor bug on Intel Mac with OS 10.4.9? I have a same problem desperately.
Did you reinstall gwTeX and LaTeX Equation Editor after "archive and install" of your OS 10.4.9? What about the preference setting?
I am a really beginner of LaTeX.
Thank you so much.
