Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Okay, so I installed. At the beginning, it politely asked me if I would permit non-personal information to be transmitted back to improve the program. I said No. Ever since, Little snitch regularly (maybe every 30 minutes) pops up to ask if I will allow communication..... I continued to say no. Finally, after I deleted the program(s), it still continued to ask... I don't like this. I told little snitch to deny forever. Be warned.

It would be nice if they offered an uninstall option.

Uninstall Option - Razzledazzle

There I an uninstall option. Go to System Preferences. Open Google Desktop.Click the tab that says Feedback and you will see the uninstall option. Incidentally I have Little Snitch as well but seldom turn it on as I am not too worried most of the sites I go to are safe and my apps don't "call home"I allowed Google to get the crash reports etc...why not there is nothing confidential in a crash report or log of that type.

No thank you.... - deejemon

Google Desktop accessed the net for more than just the software improvement program. Unsurprisingly, it's integrated into Google.com. So, it's honoring you opting out of the non-personal feedback thing, but your Little Snitch is reacting to normal Google Desktop behavior (and, frankly, you're reacting to something that you should educate yourself about first).
