If you have problem installing Flash Player 9.0.28.0, try these steps...

1. Go to <http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/> and download Uninstaller: Flash Player.

2. Go to <http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash> and download Flash Player.

3. Open "Disk Utility" (Folder: Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility).

4. Select your HD and run/click "Repair Disk Permission".

5. Quit all the open web browser.

6. Run Uninstaller; "Uninstall Flash Player".

7. Install Flash Player.

That's it! It should work.

Make sure to download the correct version; PowerPC-based version / Intel-based version.

Couldn't find an uninstaller as part of the downloaded Flash Player package. Are you using a third-party uninstaller program?

Thanks for the recommendation!

if you search Adobe's website for the words Flash Uninstaller, you should be able to find that page, and they have uninstallers for various OSes.

Yes this worked. I was about to pull my remaining hairs out!. Why can't this info be bundled with the download as a text file?. Also no problems with Firefox at all.
