OpenOffice will not start. It says that my system (OSX 10.4.9) needs Apple X11. I have tried to locate this, but cannot find it. I find updates, but those won't work without the original software.
Where can I download and install Apple X11?
Thanks,
Nick

Apple X11 is on your Tiger installer disks (if you have them). I haven't yet installed X11 (you are warned to back everything up first, and I don't have a Plan B), but I think installing it is fairly straightforward.Saturday, March 31 2007 @ 10:19 PM PDT

Apple X11 is available as an optional install on your original Mac OS instal CD or DVDs. If you shoose the custom instal option you can select what you want to instal ie the X11. Be very careful- Make sure that you don't instal anything else or you will affect your existing system!
