"Note: Only previously installed software from the list above will be updated. AirPort Utility v5.1 for Mac OS X 10.4.x or later software supports the AirPort Extreme Base Station with 802.11n, AirPort Extreme Base Station and AirPort Express Base Station."

Ridiculous? - Ronald P. Regensburg

Question: So who here actually has an AirPort Express (like me) and AirPort Utility 5.0?
Answer: Someone who uses both a new Port Extreme Base Station with 802.11n and a AirPort Express Base Station. It is not unusual to have a wireless network with more than one base station (like I have).

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh. That's not the question.

I have an AirPort Express I bought 2 weeks ago. It did not come with AirPort Utility 5.0.

To clarify, you have AirPort Utility 5.0 because you have a "new Port Extreme Base Station with 802.11n" -- not because you have an AirPort Express. You didn't answer the question, thanks!

See AirPort Express listed? Do you people have comprehension skills?

I did! - RichB2u--2008

Before this update Airport Utility 5.0 was able to manage the Express fine so I don't know what's different with 5.1.

Where did you get AirPort Utility 5.1? I can't even get AirPort Utility 5.0.
