For the money, you can't beat this simple yet extremely flexible mixer. Enough control options to give you several ways to mix it your own way. The earlier versions were not very stable. The most recent version (3.7.3) seems to be the answer. I have not experienced any crashes with the last two updates. Just a few minor bugs but none that really effect the performance end of the software. My only major complaint is that the cue control volume can sometimes be really weak. I LOVE the automix feature. Just make sure you cue your songs past weak intros. I work at a bar and I like to interact with the customers. With automix, I can build a playlist, perform minor cue setups, and enjoy myself. I'm all about WHAT I play and not how I play it, so I could really give a flying f@rt about long, drawn-out beat mixing. A few tips for smoother playback...make sure you have plenty of memory (it snarfs memory) and perhaps run Disc Warrior every now and then.
