There's unconditional 7-day money back for the Pro version and a free version (source code only) - openwall
mcleod_68 - thank you for your feedback. Yes, we're considering turning this into shareware with a demo/trial. Meanwhile, you (and others) are free to purchase the Pro and request a refund within 7 days if unsatisfied (we'd appreciate to hear the reason, but we do not require a reason). Alternatively (or additionally), you (and others) can try the free version downloadable from http://www.openwall.com/john/ but you'd have to compile it from source (use one of the "Unix - sources" download links; the Makefile includes several macosx-* targets).Tuesday, March 20 2007 @ 01:52 PM PDT

You can test it for free. The non-pro version is available for download at http://www.openwall.com/john. You just need to compile it yourself. With the free version you don't get the installer, test dictionary and support of the pro version.Reply to This
