The recently released Mac OS X 10.4.9 now supports USB webcams. So is there really any need for this software any more?
Any comment from the developer?

Upgrading to 10.4.9 costs $0.Or were you referring to the cost of 10.4 itself?
One would hope you've already paid for that OS since it's been the standard OS for over 2 years.
The only way your response to 'watchit's' comment makes sense is if you're still using 10.3.

Also, only certain UVC webcams are supported natively.iChatUSBCam is still needed to use any cameras that require macam or other 3rd party drivers.
