I would like to add to my previous comment that I have been hearing from the developer constantly and I get the feeling that my case is being taken seriously, and that no one else seems to have reported the same problem.

I have also noticed that it seems to only happen with AAC files and not AIFF or mp3.

Am I the only one that has this behaviour?

Interesting, I noticed I was having difficulty with AAC files too. It just creates a sputtering sound on playback. Were you able to get a fix on this?
