It's utter crap. Whenever I try to make a change to an existing file all I get is an error message stating: "Could not complete your request because of a program error."

I have tried it on a 700MHz G3 iBook and on a 1 GB G4 eMac with the same result each time.

Re-installs don't help.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I've gone back to PE3.

Hi, I was having the same problem with "could not complete your request because of a program error", which persisted despite reinstalling the entire app.

I finally solved it by following the directions for "resetting Launch Services", the instructions for which are on this page:

http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/resetlaunchservices.html

This will reset all file associations, unfortunately, but it did solve the problem. Happily OS X makes file associations pretty easy to put back to how you want them.
