The application gave no feedback as to what it was doing, if it was copying anything or not, nor any progress bars. I didn't even know if it was finished or not. Since my music library is somewhat huge, I can't just go in and see if it had copied anything or not.

Does not give any feedback - alex harvey
It would be nice to have a log listing (either to screen or file or both, as an option) to build confidence during or after backup. This would indicate to the user that the program is doing what it's supposed to do and not losing or skipping valuable files. A log would make it easier than blindly digging thru both libraries to verify that the program is actually working properly.Once confidence is achieved, the user wouldn't need to look at the log anymore. But until the user is comfortable with the results of the backup process, the program will not be fully trusted.

Per your suggestion, there is now a status message that displays the current song being backed up.Monday, September 03 2007 @ 02:24 PM PDT

There is a progress bar that indicates the progress of the backup. Obviously, the time it takes to fill that progress bar varies on the size of your library.Reply to This
