I find my own whine shrill but anytime an app asks for my system password I instinctively want to cancel the install. Worse, it Drive-in's case, there is no easily observable uninstaller in the folder. Really a no-no. I assume you are putting crap into my system when you ask for my password and I would like to know I can get rid of all the extras should I need to return my system to an OS-original state.
Next, there is not "report a bug" functionality in their beta software.
Finally; I love Telestream and Ben W. (or efforts started by him) have given much to the computer world.

Saw that, did that, isn't the same thing. A bug report usually offers the programer a more defined set of information to help in diagnostics. Tech support is a black comment box that usually doesn't give the dev enough quality information to see what went wrong.Thursday, March 08 2007 @ 02:29 AM PST
Use Pacifist - Central Scrutinizer--2008
Pacifist will open a package and let you view the install locations of all files, and then install it or even extract it to a specified directory. It's indispensable for dealing with betas or software from questionable sources.Thursday, December 06 2007 @ 06:45 PM PST
