... what has been a marvellous application before. Since "improvements " for Intel macs version 1.7.9 for PPC has become extremely slow in reading the messages from a group and freezes at start 2 - 3 times before it does what 1.7.8 always did : Provide a good fast access to news servers and its message / file lists.
I start to be angry that I purchased this app , if i cant hardly use it since the change from 1.7.8 to 1.7.9 . And of course version 1.7.8 is not avaliable at Panics website. Shame on you.

Version 1.7.8 is available right here at VersionTracker! On the Unison page in VersionTracker (where you entered your review) right above the Unison Product Description is an Information Related to Version drop down. That said, 1.7.8 to 1.7.9 was a very, very minor change, and I'm not sure how it could produce the types of problems you're describing. Be sure to send a report to our support address, if you haven't already.
