I've bug-reported this weeks ago and still no fix.

I can't open the disk image that is unpacked from .dmg.bz2

I can't believe they haven't fixed this yet, as it's a huge problem if people CAN'T EVEN DOWNLOAD YOUR SOFTWARE! I've looked and I'm not the only person with this problem and it happens no matter if you try to d/l it from versiontracker or the developer's own site.

DEVELOPER - please fix your download so that people can actually use this product!

Don't bother downloading, you won't be able to mount the disk image. - joe63

It's a problem with Safari. I thought too that it was something wrong with the .dmg-file. Use Firefox instead and you shall succeed. :)

QS is really cool! :D

easy fix - jjsmd12

DO NOT UNARCHIVE IT. Just delete the .bz2 from the end of the name. You can then mount it as a disk image.

Thanks. That's the simple way to resolve this problem and it works with a Safari download.

THANK YOU!!!
I've been having the same problem and didn't have the common sense to examine the file name and just remove .bz2
Now I can finally start using Quicksilver and see what all the noise is all about.
