I posted this as a reply to jreffner below but thought I should post it where more people will see it in case someone gets the wrong idea from just reading jreffner's statement.
You really should at least try the software before commenting, otherwise you can look like an moron. This software will copy the ENTIRE disc to your hard drive with the encryption still in place. It's like just having the DVD in your drive it just plays the file like a DVD player or your computers DVD drive would. It's hard to understand because there isn't any other software like this out there (at least that I have seen). It leaves the encryption in place but brings the WHOLE thing to your hard drive and you can play it. The files are somewhat large but if you plan to use a LARGE drive for a media center it will be great.

I don't believe you can give 5 star to some shareware/commercial program that do things that plenty other do for free. Neither if it's your very own. Then if you feel guilty about keeping an unprotected copy of a DVD YOU own on YOUR hard drive for a in-flight watch, well... erase it.
Sorry but it's true.
Then, don't worry. They will remove this post ASAD (As Soon As Detected).

ratzkat,You might want to enlighten yourself about manners. Since I haven't insulted you in any way, I see no reason why you would feel it necessary to insult me.
For the record, I'm fully aware of how the program works, I simply would have actually used it if it decrypted the discs rather than copy the discs with the encryption in tact. I can see several more uses for this application if it would do this rather than not.
My opinion is mine, and yours is yours. If you're happy with this app as it is, then great, but I'm not. I feel it could be much more. I also don't have to try the app in order to figure out that it doesn't do what I feel it should do (primarily because I'm able and willing to read). So, you'll have to forgive me for not wanting to instal software on my Mac just so that I can uninstal it later.
Consideration and politeness are two things you might wish to consider next time you respond (twice) to somone else's review.
Respectfully,
jreffner
