On two computers, one running 10.3.9 and the other running 10.4.8, the beta version (1.1b) is broken. I suspect that the problem is actually related to CamiTools, as changing the appearance in the CamiTools menu resulted in 1.1b failing to open a browser window on the 10.3.9 computer. On the 10.4.8 computer, the toolbar is missing the forward, back and home buttons as well as the Google search bar.
I haven't tried uninstalling CamiTools and trying again, but since no one else is reporting this (so far) I suspect this is the problem. Reverting to 1.0.3 resolved the problem. Until CamiTools is updated, I would recommend being cautious if you install 1.1b.

Re: Broken stuff? - Uncle Asad
You have an old version of CaminoSession in your ~/Library/InputManagers or ~/Library/InputManagers; this haxie is incompatible with Camino 1.1b (which has built-in session saving). You should remove the InputManager from those folders as well as remove the CaminoSession preference pane from the PreferencePanes folder in your Camino profile.Tuesday, February 27 2007 @ 11:14 AM PST

Great! I forgot about the SIMBL Camino Session plug-in. Version 1.1b1 works for me now.Wednesday, February 28 2007 @ 11:10 AM PST

I love Camino, and I use it almost exclusively, but version 1.1b1 broke for me, as well (G4, 10.3.9). It will load one webpage after startup, and then all links and bookmarks become unresponsive. I've had nightly builds break on me before, and I tried starting it from scratch with no preferences and no Camino folder in Application Support. It still wouldn't work, so I've reverted to a nightly build from 1 February, which works fine. I'll try a new nightly build in another week or so to see if the problem persists.Tuesday, February 27 2007 @ 09:46 AM PST
