For a while there were no updates for the OSX version - which was annoying as the version crashed on my own system (G4/1Ghz/1.5gb/10.4.8) and I had to use an earlier version. But this is a herculean task being done by a very small production staff (1, right?) and all I can say is I could never be that deeply immersed in playing the game, much less in maintaining the code. Right now, it's still a bit squirrely with the Intro movies - they're choppy. But I'm usually <Esc>ping them anyway, so no problem. For now, things seem to be fairly stable, though I would expect the mouse to work on selecting the front game menu items. As is, they only work on the sublevel menus. (Not Configure, New Game, Load Game, etc.)

So perhaps there are minor issues and once I locked it up firing the gatling gun at the bot guarding the prisoners D2/L1, but it didn't lock the system and could Force Quit and restart.
