Product Platform: WinNT,Win95,Win98,WinME,WinXP,Win2k

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

We switched from Mac to Win and all our archives from MacOS 7 are in stuffit. Now, I need only the expander and i've to register and subscribe to their mailinglist and install the trial standard edition. Incredible stupid. They have lost us for ever, and we never will use again closed formats for archiving. Actually using 7zip.
To bypass their subscription d/l it from http://www.stuffit.com/downloads/std-downloadv.html

PS: obviously i've tried also the expander... it's an app that seems made in the early 90's. horrible and slow user interface.

Stupid company - benvoliowillson

Probably the stupidest sentence in that comment was the one that went something along the lines of explaining that your company just switched from Mac to Windows. That's the stupidest move a company could make in today's rapidly mac-advantageous business world. This program might not do well in Windows because WINDOWS doesn't do well, period. Stick that in your boss's pipe. You want to take security measures against viruses destroying your data? Get a Mac. You want easy file access? Get a Mac. You want a good business? You know what to do.
