I have version 8.0 and it won't open and then crashes when I do get it to function.

There are other programs superior to Spring Cleaning that accomplish the same and they are much cheaper. You can find them on VersionTracker.

Thanks for your warning about Spring Cleaning.

What programs do you recommend for restoring orderliness? I have used Disk Warrior, Drive Genius and TechTool, but only for the usual problems - not for all those enticing features found in the Allume ad. I am a poster-boy for the loss of housekeeping skills that has spawned an entire new profession - National Association of Professional Organizers. It would be great to have one or more virtual Professional Organizers for my elderly G-4 Mac.
