I've been using VPN tracker for quite awhile. It was OK for some time, while there was no Intel support. Then... Intel support has been announced almost 2 years ago, more than a year there are plenty of Intel Macs available and... Still, VPN Tracker is only PARTIALLY supported on Intel. That is, kernel extensions are Intel and VPN tracker application itself is still PowerPC and has to run through Rosetta. That means SUPER long startup times. That means it is also SUPER slow. That means that it also takes about 10 times more memory than it should have. That means that your battery life will be decreased by quite a lot, if you use it on a run. About 6 e-mails I've sent to Equinux asking when a full support for Intel Macs will be available have gone unanswered.
All this leads to the only conclusion: I think it's too expensive for this kind of product. Personally I'm looking for an alternative.
