If you have Problems . there is either a really expensive Hotline.
Or you can send Emails, but they don“t seem to read them properly. you get only 1 email a day no matter how urgent your Problem is.
The Support is also not that you could call it friendly and helpfull .
Have a look in some Forums and see for yourselve.
Personally i Think it is overpriced and well at least expensive Software should have good support.

Dear mutonia_dotmacSilverFast hotline for non-US customers right now bears no extra costs, but is normally priced at 0.60 EUR/min (for Germans). When I think back to the time when I've been a beginner with computers, I would have loved to pay small extra fee to get help right then when I needed it. Instead I had to buy books and magazines and go to local user group meetings to get my questions answered... piece by piece... month after months... eventually.
Well, after all, you aren't forced to pay for support. The phone support is but one option, and chiefly of interest for professionals who need a kind of instant solution.
Even considering that there's no service contract you signed as a user with our company, you can send a fax or an email and get your questions answered. Within a day you say - so how bad is that?
The imaging forum on the SilverFast website is intended to provide imaging professionals a platform for exchange of knowledge and ideas, as well as an place for "users help users" activities.
Still, LSI staff is busy as can be in the forum, given "normal" support workload allows for it.
Lots of positive user feedback I personally receive does seem to indicate to me, we're on the right track here.
