Existing users, 
stay away!!!!
on intel-macs all your 3ivx encoded films wont play! I have not found any possibility to convert them to any format, that works on intel native!
(you can view the fims, if you tell quicktime to run under "rosetta" or use vlc, but cannot convert them. so sooner or later they will be non-playabel)
