This Is a New One...

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Contributed by: MacGuffin Monday, February 19 2007 @ 08:10 AM PST

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 6-12 months

Launching this revision brings up this screen:

"Before running maintenance or System cleaning, it's recommended to verify the startup disk.
To check it, please quit all the open applications (some tasks can disturb the result of checking) then click Continue and wait..."

Said verification results in this:

"Impossible checking."
"Impossible to verify the startup volume because it's not journaled."

So exactly what the hell is going on here?

Consider yourself lucky.

The verification process never completes on my computer.
The progress bar suddenly freezes and the beach ball spins until I power off the computer.

Guess I'll uninstall Onyx and wait for the next version.

Oh, geez. :(
Yeah, I think I'd do the same. I used to LOVE this app but am liking it less with each update. I still use it on a regular basis but am seeing more and more users reporting problems (with more and more unhelpful votes from the unsympathetic untroubled). I hope the bugs are eventually ironed out.
