I had a rather unpleasant test drive with MailTag, becuase it messed up my mail.app entirely. After installing (and even after uninstalling) MailTag it was impossible to choose what mail account to use for outgoing mail. Deleting the preference file and entering all personal information again finally rescued me. One hour wasted for this piece of software!

same comment installed the beta version ... uninstalled it ... but it hasn't and my mail is running as slow as a wet week .. still haven't fixed it up yet

This is a beta software so please be aware there are going to be issues.

But in anycase, please contact me (the developer) I do work to resolve issues that I know about.
