The $30 rebate offered on the packaging is not a rebate at all, but a upgrade/cross-grade refund, not the same thing at all. You only qualify for the "rebate" if you have proof of prior purchase of the norton product or a competitor's.
Apart from the bad taste left by this sleazy marketing tactic (when will software manufacturers realize "rebates" create mostly negative goodwill?), I must say the program works smoothly, and it is less intrusive than the prior Mac versions.
Also, score some points for a printed (NOT pdf) manual, albeit thinly written and padded.
I have it because I deal with Windows users in my business, and giving them a virus-laden file definitely creates negative goodwill!! My concern with ClamX is where do they get the resources to do the research to identify the viruses? Symantec obviously has cash flow.
