I'll hold the negative feedback until I actually try this updater, but if it's like R2-5, I imagine I'll have to re-install from the CD, AGAIN, before applying this update. Why the #@%! can't they provide an updater that can actually update the installed, legitimate application, installed in the #@%! default location. I always get "Updater can not locate a valid version of Quicken" error. Has anyone solved this little mystery? Would love to know what the source of the problem is. Quicken CS' answer is only to install a fresh copy of the app and start from scratch..

I got the same error, because I have Quicken 2007. Are you sure you are not the problem?
