This app looks great and the dev's site appears to be well put together and well intentioned, but I'm curious if this software has been peer reviewed at all? I'm a bit concerned about using this for business purposes (or even personal for that matter). For all I know, it could just be a Trojan for harvesting login info.

Cisco's client is actually a command-line application, with a terrible user interface on top of it. Shimo seems to be a nice user interface that runs Cisco's client. So it really is using Cisco's software for everything except how the user is presented with information.
