Used Product For: 1-6 months

Go on, then, kick a man when he is down. Whenever I fire up this application I am asked for the serial number. I have paid for this product, registering it, and still that damn blasted box appears requesting registration info.

Try deleting the following file:

(Your Hard Drive):Users:(Your Hard Drive):Library:Preferences:Tiger Cache Cleaner.plist

After that reenter your serial number.

Hi,
Thanks for your response. I have twice deleted all files associated with TCC, and still no luck :-(

Hi, Mac 1984,
Alas, your suggestion does not remedy the problem. Thanks, though, for replying to my query.
Doug.

Doug:

It looks like, with your repeated replies, that you've been caught by the dumb VersionTracker software's slow response time--when you click the "Submit Comment" button, VT often doesn't seem to do anything. It usually does submit your comment, however. The way to tell is to open a new browser window, and navigate back to the VT page where you're submitting your comment, and see if it's been posted. The owners of VT haven't cared enough to fix this problem, so we have to put up with it.

Hi John,
Yep - looks as if my original response has been duplicated many times. Thanks for letting me know why this happens. Hmmm..wonder how many times this message will be appearing !

yes, happens to me also.

Additionally, it happens with the main page when you click the Yes or No Comment Helpful button. Seem very bizarre that the VersionTracker site will show no response to a button click even when I let it sit for 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, etc. Just have to close the window and manually refresh to get new page.

Is this just a few of us (and means our computer is set 'wrong'). or does this happen to every one and we all just live with it.

It happens to all of us sometimes, and it's the fault of the software that runs the VersionTracker site. As I say, someone hasn't cared enough to fix the problem--either the owners of VT, or the company that wrote the software that runs VT.
