Wow, this is seriously buggy software. I got it so I could use my new Blackberry Pearl with my MacBook Pro, but it never seemed to make a connection with the Pearl -- as if it wasn't supported, even though it was.
I've now gone back to my Blackberry 8707g, because I prefer it anyway, but PocketMac 4.0 won't connect to it because it has a password on the device. There IS a spot to put your password into the PocketMac SyncManager (and a note underneath saying to quit and restart the sync manager to save the password) but when I quit and restart the sync manager, the password is gone. Soooo frustrating.
The worst thing is that PocketMac 3.13 worked reasonably well -- it wasn't perfect but it basically worked. PocketMac 4.0 DOESN'T, and it's annoying that all links to PocketMac 3.13 have disappeared -- it seems to be impossible to download now. :(

I agree, I have a Pearl and the latest iBook and I have been able to sync my data a total of two times! I even went so fart to uninstall and reinstall the software. I'm really glad I didn't pay for this sucky softare, that is the only thing that would make it worse!Reply to This
