Not easy to uninstall!

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Contributed by: mjoll_dotmac Saturday, February 03 2007 @ 08:48 AM PST

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Decided that this wasn't for me, but it took some effort to rid Foxfire and Safari of it. Developer's site offers ZERO advice on removing it from your system. Don't install this unless you're pretty serious about password management. I wouldn't recommend for the casual Mac user.

Not easy to uninstall! - dteare

Sorry; we had the uninstall instructions in the old user guide and I forgot to copy them over. Here are the Uninstall instructions.

The way we have things setup, all you really need to do is drag 1Passwd to the trash, empty the trash, and then restart your web browsers. The instructions above also show you how to clean up some other files (keychain, symbolic links, etc).
