I was thinking this maybe useful for web development to test compatibility with IE 5.5/6, which it says it supports with a degree of success. However since the application is running in x-windows and not in ms windows I'm guessing that the fonts available will not necessarily match those found on ms windows and it's likely that the page may not be an accurate representation of your page layout. Can anyone confirm this ? ..... it looks like virtualisation is the only way to go for web designers.

Font matching ? - lbrown5

I found this method of using Windows Internet Explorer to view web sites to be unacceptable as Internet Explorer running in Crossover does not match, pixel for pixel, Internet Explorer running in virtualization. So, yes, virtualization (or bootcamp) still appears the only way for web developers to truly see what Windows users are seeing.
