Between the free apps that work as well from the menu bar and keyboard, and DragThing for but $4 more, this app falls short. More, it is slow. It is clean and easy to use and visually appealling. I will keep interested as I'm a big fan of app launchers! I use DragThing, MaxMenus, Xkeys, QuickSilver, and even Launch Items a little still.

You can speed up Valet by turning off the preference for speech recognition. We are hoping to work with Apple to make that faster, but its out of our hands at the current time. You would lose one of the fun parts of the app this way, but on the other hand, you can make it faster if you weren't using the voice commands anyway.Reply to This
