Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

My wife is in Real Estate, and wouldnt you know it, the MLS site works only with MSIE 6. Tried PARALLELS, which worked fine. But this is- a miracle!
Instead of wasting a couple of Gigs of space for Windows XP, just so we could use IE, we just add this 30Mb app, install MSIE, and need not have Windows infect our system at all.
Its the only MS app she needs to use.
And the space we save.
Im sure it can only get better.

You could also enable the hidden Debug menu in Safari. It has a feature that enables it to emulate MS Internet Explorer 6 and other browers.

Type the following command in Terminal (while Safari is NOT running):

% defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1
Then launch Safari, and you will be able to use the new Debug menu.

If you ever wish to disable it again, just repeat the command with a "0" instead of a "1".

Spoofing IE 6 by changing the user agent will not work on many sites. I have found it is really hit or miss.
