I've never used this browser but I have Safari, Firefox, Camino and Opera. They are all free. Mostly I use Safari.
Why should I shell out $15.- for another browser? Is there anything I miss here?

I use these same browsers; and in simple truth, OPERA has one most useful feature than none of the others have: namely, the letter "Z" may be used to backspace, and the letter "X" may be used to go forward. No other browers have this unique combo, and and backspacing are used every time one browsers. Congratulations OPERA. Try Opera 8.54.

So how the hell do you type "z" and "x" if they go back and forwards? All other browsers, including those on other platforms use meta-arrow ie: meta = control or apple, arrow = left or right. So you're actually pleased they're not following standard UI behavior.

OmniWeb sports a whole list of features, many of them unique, but rather than try and describe them and ask you if they are of interest, the best thing you can do is download it and run it in trial/unlicensed mode (BTW, it doesn't "expire").If you find something you like, you can then decide if you want to buy a license (code) for it. If you don't find anything, no loss. It's a free download.
People are obviously prepared to pay for it, so they must find something of value to them. It's probably not to everybody's taste, but that's why there's choice.
