Google produces a program for the Mac. You can use the GMail Notifier to do exactly the same thing as Gmailto.

I downloaded the Notifier and it works great!

Use GMail Notifier Instead - isntzen

I can't find GMail Notifier with your link or anywhere else.
I need it because the new Google Notifier doesn't support Pather.
