After having installed and re-installed version 8 of Toast Titanium I can only say that this program simply won't work on my PowerBook G4, system 10.4.8. Toast Titanium version 7, no problem. Version 8 crashes before it even starts up. Tech support has been less than useless.

I don't know what your problem is, but Toast 8 Titanium works fine on both my 500MHz PowerBook G4 and my iMac G5 iSight. I would suggest you run DiskWarrior, TechTool, or both on your system to see if there are any problems. You also may be running another piece of software that interferes with Toast. Over the years I have read several complaints about Toast in this forum, but have been unable to substantiate any of them. I think you're giving Toast an undeservedly bad rap. Doctor, heal thyself!

Hi, I've run DiskWarrior as well as Disk Utility. No problems whatsoever. And as I mentioned, Toast Titanium version 7 works fine, so obviously something is wrong with Version 8.
