It's a good app but needs the "apple standards".
Here some examples
- Toolbar icons file type TIFF and/or icns
- Toolbar right mouse "Customize Toolbar..."
- Toolbar search
- Unified toolbar option
- Menu "Open Recent..."
- Menu "Windows"
- EditField capable of using the system standards when using, fo example, right mouse (dictionary, spelling, copy, paste, ...)
- Reduce the size of Apps (same app; in cocoa 380k; in RB 7.9mb)

Some of these functions must be made by hand. I whoud be a hudge improvement if they use as standard. It's just my opinion.Tuesday, April 17 2007 @ 08:46 AM PDT

Actually, in Xcode 2 (and 3) a lot of the Cocoa frameworks are compiled automatically into your software. I've even written functional software that runs at less than 1MB. Beat that, REALBasic users!Tuesday, November 13 2007 @ 08:20 AM PST

In all fairness, coding a 'Recent Items' and/or a Window menu is up to you. Also, if every Cocoa app contained all the Cocoa frameworks, they'd be huge as well. Perhaps we should lobby Apple to support the RealBasic frameworks at the OS level?Reply to This
