Problems with keyboard use

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Contributed by: Dana Nau Monday, January 29 2007 @ 11:05 AM PST

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I tried out EasyTask today, but ended up discarding it. Most of its features seemed pretty appealing, but I was disappointed to find that it often ignored the standard Apple keyboard shortcuts (the ones activated by the "full keyboard access" option of Apple's Keyboard and Mouse preferences). Instead, for nearly everything I wanted to do, I had to switch back and forth between the keyboard and the mouse. For many of you, this might not be an issue, but for me it's a show stopper. I work much faster when I can keep my hands on the keyboard.

If a subsequent version of EasyTask fixes this problem, I'll probably try it again.

Will fix on next update(s) - orionbelt

Hello Dana,

ETM responds to the standard Apple shorcuts. Like Command-Q, Command-S, Command-N, etc. Next update(s) will include better support when entering new tasks, tabbing around the app, etc.

If you would like to provide us with more feedback, comments, etc please let us know at support [at] orionbelt [dot] com or at http://www.orionbelt.com/contact.html

Thanks,
Jose
