I use Timesheet every day and like it a lot. The developer has been very responsive to questions and suggestions. And free is my favorite price!

A few tips:
1. I eventually found it helpful to set up a small number of projects so as to end up with a simpler summary graph.
2. I eventually numbered my projects to make them appear in useful groupings. (The list is always alphabetical.) You can change the name of a project at any time without losing your old data.
3. Occasionally the software makes an error, failing to stop the clock on the previous project when you start a new one. Probably this happens when my hard drive goes to sleep. So at the end of a long project it's safer to stop that one before clicking another one.
4. If you forgot to change projects in real time, it's easy to edit the start and stop times later. But the software won't let you enter seconds when you do this, just hours and minutes. So type 1:57 PM, not 1:57:14 PM.
5. The software won't let you enter times that overlap another entry, which is a good thing. So it's easiest to change the earliest entry first, then the next one, and so on.

Try it, I think you'll like it!
