I have installed Acrobat 8.0 without problems. After making some cleaning with Onyx or TTC I am getting always the error message: "Adobe could not install correctly. A required component was not found. Please restore the Acrobat folder from your CD." After re-installing everything works normal, very annoying.
I had never such an error with version 7.
Does anyone have same error and what is actually missing or can I work around?

I am having exactly the same problems. Additionally, Acrobat Pro 8.0 often freezes when used to download pdf files via Safari Version 2.0.4. Any solutions?Wednesday, February 28 2007 @ 12:41 PM PST

I have the same thing Acrobat 8 Pro. After reinstall works for maybe a half hour then right back not working again. I don't know of any fixes for this. I went back to acrobat pro 6 because of this.Tuesday, June 05 2007 @ 06:27 PM PDT

Do not clean Adobe products. If you remove language or (especially) architectures (stripping Universality out to leave either an Intel or PowerPC-specific binary) from them, Adobe's products won't work properly.
Re-install and don't clean them.
