So a year ago this new version was announced! The developer, Bryan Looney, has been quite invisible since he removed the Radical Breeze blog in late May, 2006, after caving under the weight of so many Formation 1.1 support complaints that went unanswered and untold "where the heck is it" queries about F2 fell on deaf ears.
So I think this Bryan character ought to have the good graces to shop around his collection of software, many titles of which have been promised upgrades during 2006, to another programmer who will do them justice. Radical Breeze has somehow turned in Radical Sleaze and the joke's on those of us who've been strung along for almost two years.

Formation 2.0 is total vaporware! - smhill
Very sad. I bought 1.4, and was really looking forward to the upgrade. The current version is really slow and needs some serious UI work.I had high hopes for it, and was looking forward to XP version so I could share my data across my computers.
I really lost respect and faith for the developer after the blog incident. They really got hostile to their customers and continually made promises that they failed to deliver on. They could have avoided that simply by not make promises in the first place.
Additionally, with the crap they have been releasing like footlights, I suspect they really are in the wrong business. Though it looks like they probably aren't in business anymore, their site hasn't been updated in a year.
I regret my purchases from them.
If you are looking for an alternated to what Formation is supposed to be, check out DevonThink Pro. I eventually bought Devon when RadicalBreeze failed to deliver, and have been extremely happy with the product. They also have regular updates.
