I have settled on CB as an internet filter after trying some alternatives, and I am satisfied with it. A kid browser like Bumpercar is useless for an 11 year old; by that age they need to be using a proper browser for homework. KidsGoGoGo deserves to be considered seriously; it is ambitious; but it just did not feel solid. CB does feel solid. It generally blocks what one wishes to be blocked for the managed users. The manual is well presented.

One suggestion I have for Intego is to allow itunes streaming while other streaming is blocked. iTunes has good parental controls of its own, and I would like to allow that app and not other streaming (like those little online videos).

No longer the best in class. Try K9 Web Protection, which is extremely good and is free.
