It seems that I am one of the few supporters here...Chronos positively has not helped matters. The loss of the support forum was monumental in today's world of software support, and now it seems that supporters, and users, are left to fend for themselves. Too bad, as most software developers are utilizing forums or the at the minimum, blogs, for this level of software. The latest beta appears to be working well, and I still consider SOHO Notes the best in its category, but, again, I must reiterate that Chronos is making it very hard to be, and remain, a supporter.
I have found a bug...and I would report it, but there is no forum...so no report. In all good conscience I cannot recommend someone new to SOHO Notes to invest the time and energy into it, and especially in any business circumstance, to purchase SOHO Notes—not until Chronos changes some of it policies. Sorry Chronos.

Yes they announced free email support but have you tried to use it? You do not get an answer. I have waited for months with out response. It's a good program when it works and does not corrupt your system. It really has the best interface of any out there and many of us would remain loyal if they had't cut themselves off. Granted the forum was full of complaints but it seem the developers were not able to handle honest (although often overly agressive) feedback. But the usere were working with each other to work around the problems and Chronos put an end to that. I am going to try the new upgrade because I like the program so much. But last few times I have had to mover back to Yojimbo for reliability and the stability of my system. Hope this one works.Monday, January 22 2007 @ 06:25 AM PST

But Chronos announced recently that in 'abandoning' forum support they were returning to free email support - via a link at the end of each KB article; I have always found their response time pretty good.Sunday, January 21 2007 @ 09:16 AM PST
Beta feedback - areising
I am using the 5.7.0 beta and was also frustrated to find no way to provide feedback. Getting rid of the forum was also a sham, however I expect Chronos did it because they realized users were no longer able to help other users; the problems lay in their software. I did find this via Google:http://www.chronosnet.com/Support/betafeedback.html
SOHO Notes is a memory hog, no arguing that. I finally have imported most of my Documents folder into it, and if it worked fine I would be very happy. It's still pretty slow, but when it works it works. The grabbing service is helpful, but that darned SOHO Sync service sucks up so much CPU power all the time. Keep in mind this all applies to the 5.7 beta. It was always a hog, but it never locked up or anything.
I paid for it a long time ago, when it was still StickyBrain, so I guess I'm kind of a blind follower. But I can keep hoping Chronos will eventually speed it up...
