Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

I have executed this update several times to no avail. Excel and Word are updated to 11.3.3 however, as many times as I have attempted, Microsoft Office is still at 11.3 and NOT updated to 11.3.3

Am I doint something wrong??

Unable to update OFFICE! - rcsoffice

Same Problem. I used the Auto Update - tried 3 times. After downloading, I get the message I don't have the right components for this update. Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint rest at 11.3.0 while Entourage is 11.2.5 and NOTHING is at 11.3.3!

Once again MS has taught me a very valuable lesson: In the Windows world, Mac users are second class at best.

I don't like this lesson.

Are you using Auto-update, too? I never use it after having my entire drive corrupted by one of the earlier updates. Now I update from the Mactopia site AND check each file to be sure it's correct. Microsoft Office is the only application I'm aware of that lists changes file by file, so YOU can check whether THEIR download worked.

Sympathies to everyone suffering as a result of the update. My experience with Office 2.? enraged me, and I wish I could offer help beyond saying that DiskWarrior (Version 3 at the time) did fix my drive after 19 hours of work! Then, of course, I had to reinstall several applications.

Still haven't updated to Office 11.3--I keep checking the comments in versiontracker, to see if the update is worth risking problems described.
